The Top 10 Worst Cars of All Time

Previously I've blogged about the top 10 ugliest cars, top 5 Toyota's/ Top 5 Japanese Cars that should be sold in the USA, and the Top 5 Cars that should be sold here in the USA. Unlike the previous posts, I thought a post on the worst cars of all time should be given a try. I have read several books on the worst cars, and I compiled my own list of my top 10.
1971 Ford Pinto
  1. Ford Pinto. We all know how shitty the Ford Pinto is and how dangerous it is when it is rear ended. When it does get rear ended it will explode because the gas tank is located in the rear of the vehicle. The Ford Pinto was manufactured from 1971 to 1980 9 dreadful years of this garbage. To add how dangerous this car was, in 1973 Henry Smolinski developed a flying car based on the Ford Pinto, with the back half of a Cessna Skymaster called the AVE Mizar. Ironically Henry Smolinski died in a crash in a test flight of the AVE Mizar. The cause of the crash was a right wing strut detached from the pinto and the right wing folded and crashed. Not Such a Bright Idea is it?
1988 Cadillac Cimarron
  2. Cadillac Cimarron. Here is a prime example of a badge engineering gone wrong. The good folks at General Motors must have been on drugs when they thought it was a good idea to rebadge a Chevrolet Cavalier as a Cadillac. The Cimarron, introduced on May 21, 1981, was initially advertised as "Cimarron, by Cadillac" and sales personnel were instructed by GM to not refer to the car as a Cadillac and to inform customers that it was, technically, not a Cadillac. This strategy failed, and it became the Cadillac Cimarron for 1983. Wait does this mean that we can't call it a Cadillac but it is a Cadillac? I guess GM thought that the buyers were stupid. Paying $12,181 for a Cavalier in Cadillac's clothing is ludicrous.
Shitty Renault
  3. Renault Fuego. Where should I begin on this piece of shit. I could tell you that my uncle once owned one of these and doesn't like to be reminded of his experiences with it. His was a Renault Fuego Turbo. Every time he drove it, the radiator would melt on him, not to mention that the radiator was made of plastic. May I also add that French cars are not the greatest cars in the world.
Can You Say Girl Car?
  4. Mitsubishi i Hello Kitty Edition. Thankfully there was only one of these made. I'm not bashing the Mitsubishi i in anyway, only the Hello Kitty Edition from 2006. If this car doesn't describe "Girl Car" I don't know what is. I'm a guy and I wouldn't be caught dead driving or riding in this monstrosity. Just the thought of driving it gives me nightmares. I could get beaten up for driving this.
Trabant 601
  5. Trabant. If there has to be a prime example of why Communism sucks, the Trabant would be it. This car comes from the former East Germany, which was Soviet controlled from the end of WW2 to 1990. This car was ultra cheap and crappy. Also not to mention there was a waiting list for this shitwagon which is also a reason why Communism is a bad thing. Enough said here.
  6. Citroen 2CV. This car defines peasant's car. Not only is this car a piece of crap, it was also a very cheap car. 42 Miserable years this car was in production from 1948 to 1990. As you may have guessed, the French make bad cars. Actually the Citroen 2CV sold very well. A total of 5,114,966 of these ugly cars were produced in its 42 year run. Also I'd like to mention that the 2CV is very good for kit cars.
  7. Ford Mustang II. Why? Why? Why in the hell was this monstrosity produced? This car is a disgrace to the Ford Mustang nameplate. Shortening the wheelbase on a legendary car is just wrong. Hey this is what the Oil Embargo brought us back in the 1970s downsized muscle cars. Not only is this car despised today, it is ironically very desirable in the collectors market. I would like to add that the Ford Mustang II was based on a Ford Pinto. In addition to this being despised, the Ford Mustang II was produced from 1974 to 1978.
  8. Hummer H2. Why is the Hummer H2 on this list? Well the answer is simple, it is unnecessary and a total waste of money. You see the typical person who wants to buy a vehicle that is based off of a military vehicle  has money burning a hole right through their pocket. Another thing is that the Hummer H2 is a total gas sucker. A Gas hog, a gas guzzler, that gets like 10 MPG or less. Thank God that General Motors discontinued this brand.
 9. Aston Martin Lagonda. All I can say about this car is what the fuck. This car is beyond words in describing. It is an embarrassment to the Aston Martin brand by being an ugly ass sedan. Aston Martin does not need a sedan. Nor do I see James Bond driving one of these either. It looks like your typical 1980s boxy car. Enough said here.
  10. Rolls-Royce Camargue. You'd think that the words Ugly Rolls-Royce would never be used in the same sentence together. Well think again. This has to be the ugliest Rolls-Royce ever made. It is a disgrace to the brand and should be shunned. The Camargue was made from 1975 to 1986 with 531 of these ugly ducklings produced.

Top 5 Japanese Cars That Should Be Sold In The USA

I love cars. I love them so much that I talk about them a lot. I even collect toy cars. But If you read my last post about the top 5 Toyota Vehicles That Should Be Sold Here In The USA, you know I like Japanese cars, well some of them. Anyway without further a due here are the top 5 Japanese cars that should be sold in the USA.
Honda Civic Type R Euro.
   5. Honda Civic Type R Euro. Now Honda sells many variations on the legendary Honda Civic here in the United States. However they don't sell the Type R Euro here. Now the Honda Civic Type R Euro comes in three different colors, Milano Red, Alabaster Silver Metallic, and Championship White. What makes this Civic so different? For one, it's a $42,000 Honda Civic. Also It's a high performance Civic which pretty much explains the high price tag. I'll keep my Matchbox version thank you.
Mitsubishi Triton
   4. Mitsubishi Triton. Here is a perfect example of something that Mitsubishi can make a ton of money on here in the USA. As you can see, the Mitsubishi Triton is a direct competitor to the Honda Ridgeline and the American Chevrolet Avalanche. But at a price of $41,800 it's a little expensive for a four door pickup truck. I think I would rather keep my Matchbox version of this thank you.
2011 Daihatsu Hijet
    3. Daihatsu Hijet. For those of you who remember the failure of Daihatsu in the USA back in the late 1980s probably can guess that Daihatsu will most definitely come to the USA ever again. Anyway here is the Daihatsu Hijet kei truck. Used kei trucks are already sold here in the USA, but not many places sell them. There is a use for these here in my opinion. Rural Postal workers can use these because they are already Right Hand Drive so it would be easier to put the mail in the mail box. Small farmers could use the Hijet to carry crops to the local market and so on. At a base price of $9,800, this kei truck won't break the bank.
Nissan Civilian Bus.
   3. Nissan Civilian Bus. If you read my post on Toyota's you probably noticed the Toyota Coaster there. Well here is Nissan's equivalent to the Coaster. There is a huge market for small buses here in the USA, but the Japanese automakers fail to realize that. The Nissan Civilian Bus sells for $73,000 for a 26 passenger model, if you want 29 passengers you'll pay $3,000 more.

    1. Subaru Exiga. Now here's a car from my favorite Japanese automaker, Subaru. My family loves Subaru's. Let's Cut to the chase here. The Exiga is a station wagon that is different from the Subaru Outback. For one thing, it seats 7 compared to the Outback's 5 passenger seating. It also has an optional glass roof and a turbo option. I know that this is not a minivan, but this car is the perfect alternative for the minivan. The Exiga is priced at $28,300.

Top 5 Toyota Vehicles That Should Be Sold In The USA

I was thinking about some of the many Toyota vehicles that they don't sell here in the USA. Frankly because, I don't like any of the Toyota's that are sold here already.
2011 Toyota Coaster
  5.  Toyota Coaster. The Toyota Coaster is a minibus that well you guessed it, is not sold here in the United States. Toyota is missing out on a great market for this in the USA. The Toyota Coaster would make a great limo coach, party bus, handicapped accessible bus, airport shuttle. There are so many different options for this vehicle, that Toyota can make a fortune selling this in the states.
2011 Toyota Crown Majesta
  4. Toyota Crown Majesta. As of 2011, the Toyota Crown, family of cars is the the oldest Toyota still in production. The Toyota Crown is a luxury car that is kind of like a Lexus, but it isn't badged as a Lexus. The Toyota Crown Majesta is Toyota's flagship sedan that is sold in Japan. Now the Crown Majesta competes with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the Maserati Quatrroporte, and BMW 7 series. I think that if Toyota would import this to the USA, They will be making a risky move because the crown might be brand cannibalism towards the Lexus brand. It's worth a shot, but I don't see people shelling out $93,400 for a Toyota.
2011 Toyota HIAce van
3. Toyota HIAce Van. The Toyota HIAce van is a commercial vehicle, that well, isn't sold in the USA as you may have guessed. Now since Nissan started selling commercial trucks and vans in the USA, wouldn't you think Toyota would do the same thing? Nope they won't consider selling the HIAce van due to several reasons, COE or Cab over Engine vans are obsolete in the USA. The last Cabover van Toyota sold in the USA was the MasterAce back in the 1980s. The HIAce would be a good vehicle but cabovers are not good when it comes to front crash tests. Also at $32,600 the price is a little steep.
A 2011 Toyota QuickDelivery
2. Toyota QuickDelivery.  Ok where to begin with this one? Well as mentioned in the name of the vehicle, it is a delivery vehicle. As a matter of fact it is a hybrid delivery vehicle. One that costs a whopping USD of $72,300. It's basically a step van made by Toyota. In my opinion, Toyota can make money from these here, from companies like FedEx and UPS could use them as package cars. With the $72,300 price tag, I highly doubt Toyota will bring this to the United States.
A Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series
1. Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series. Well we made it to number one on my list. What's so special about a Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series? To tell you the truth, this is the coolest bare bones basic, rugged 4x4 truck that Toyota doesn't sell here and never has. There is a huge market for
this in America but Toyota doesn't realize that. Millions of people here in the USA like to go off roading. This is the perfect truck to do it in. The late Steve Irwin owned one of these. I have the toy version for his action figure. Another thing that makes this truck so special that it has an optional diesel engine for it. Toyota hasn't sold a truck with a diesel engine in the USA since the 1980s. With this truck there are so many possibilities.

I Hate Minivans

Here's your REAL minivan.
I have been waiting a very long time now to get this thing off my chest. I HATE minivans. Every time I see one of these, It makes me want to punch a hole in my bedroom wall. Minivans are annoying. Why you may ask. Well here's why. 1. They are used to pickup nose pickers. I know I know I am attacking the target audience for a minivan. That is one of the reasons why I absolutely hate minivans. Most of the parents that you see driving these monstrosities hold up traffic in one way or another and make you late for work. You see minivans are like school buses they both make you terribly late to your destination. 2. THEY CRAMP YOUR STYLE. Enough said there. 3. The third row seating is terribly cramped for a tall person. My sister owns a Honda Odyssey and I absolutely hate the third row seating. Now whenever I go to visit my sister, I have to ride in the third row with my 10 year old nephew. It's really cramped back there because there is a captains chair right up against my legs. Why can't Honda make a minivan with the second row seating half a bench seat. that will at least give some legroom to the people who have to sit in the third row. 4. They killed the whales. What I meant by whales is not the kind that live in the ocean I'm talking about Station Wagons. Yeah the minivan killed the great behemoth Station Wagon. Face it the last great American wagon was the  gas guzzler Buick Roadmaster. That would kick a minivans ass back to the drawing board any day. So Save the Whales Restore an old Full Size Station Wagon!!!!!!
The cow speaks the Ugly Truth about minivans
5. They block the fire lanes at your local Walmart. OK when you go to find a parking space at your local Walmart, there is bound to be a pesky minivan blocking your right away to find a place to park. I mean take a good walk around your local Walmart parking lot. There are zillions of these evil machines. It's insane. Minivans are an annoyance in the Walmart parking lot or any other Parking lot out there. Where is the fire marshal to give these people a hefty fine?
6. The people who drive a minivan don't know how to drive. Have you ever had a minivan cut you off before? I bet you have. It happens to everybody. People can't drive these ugly vehicles let alone drive a school bus. I think that minivans should be banned. Another pet peeve is that minivan drivers have no courtesy for people who are walking to the store or mall, they speed out and onto the parking lot like maniacs. To top that they don't watch when they are backing up either. I've seen a minivan driver back into a shopping cart corral in the parking lot. Oops I didn't see that. That is what they'll say without checking to see their damage if any and Speed off. I freaking hate minivans and their drivers.
