Mattel Basic 25 David Otunga

Since today was payday I decided to buy a figure since the place where I work put out some more basic 25. I decided to finally pick up the B25 David Otunga I kept passing on for the longest time. At first I didn't care for the headscan he had but it began to grow on me and I had to have it. So I bought another David Otunga with the updated trunks.

Mattel Elite 19 Miss Elizabeth

MOC

Macho Man and Miss Eliabeth
Today I finally got my hands on an Elite 19 Miss Elizabeth Flashback. I traded two Mattel diva's figures to get it, a b11 Eve Torres and a 2pack series 1 Beth Phoenix. Miss Elizabeth was originally planned to be in the Legends line but since the line died it has been moved to the Elite line as a flashback figure. Just like Elite 16 Kevin Nash, Miss Elizabeth is in every other case of Elite 19 making her hard to find. E19 HBK will be easier to find due to him being in the first wave and not the revision wave. Now E19 Miss Elizabeth gets alot of hate from the collecting community for some reason. I however do not hate it.  Also Miss Elizabeth is the first figure to be wearing a dress, and the second to be wearing heels with B13 Vickie Guerrero being the first to have heels.
Another thing to be careful about Miss Elizabeth is her feet. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a foot fetish it's that the feet can break off. I saw pictures of one with a broken foot when it was taken right out of the box. Since Miss Elizabeth is wearing high heels, she might be hard to stand up on her own without the aid of  display stand.
E19 Miss Elizabeth is her third figure since the LJN and ToyBiz ones

The Walking Dead Series 3 Merle Dixon

I heard that Gamestop sells McFarlane Toys The Walking Dead figures. I don't watch the show at all. But I only needed one figure. That figure is none other than Merle Dixon, played by my favorite actor, Michael Rooker. This is probably going to be the only figure of Michael Rooker that will be made. I was surprised to find out that the figure is a hair taller than my Kenner Batman the Animated Series figures which is neat since they simply don't make figures in that scale nowadays.
Merle comes with an M16 assault rifle, a M1911 pistol and a knife for the accessories. He also comes with his knife hand which is non removable.  Before I forget, the headscan is accurate and captures Michael Rooker's likeness perfectly.

Hot Wheels Flintmobile

You Are Mine Now You Belong To Me
Well after coming up empty at the First 2013 Kmart collector day, I finally was able to get my hands on a new for 2013 Hot Wheels Flintmobile and a Camaro Treasure Hunt car. I went to the grocery store with my mom today and I took a walk to the nearby CVS to look at the toys and found the Flintmobile. I bought it and walked back to the grocery store and found a Treasure Hunt.

My Latest Hot Wheels Monster Jam Haul

On Friday I went to Toys R Us after going to a Dr. appointment for my Dad and to my surprise ended up finding new Hot Wheels Monster Jam trucks. I ended up buying 2 2013 trucks and 1 2012 truck. I find myself a hypocrite for buying TMNT when I never liked the Ninja Turtles. Anyway I bought the new Black Stallion and Wolverine. I beat the eBay Scalpers on the Wolverine. Wolverine is going for $25+ on eBay.  Also the TMNT truck is Michelangelo. I guess there are 4 different trucks with a different color mask to represent the 4 Turtles. Also I got my first error with a crushable car. The red station wagon that came with Black Stallion had part of the front end where you snap it into place was missing. Oh well. It's not worth returning because of that. I think I'll start a Black Stallion collection.

Greenlight Collectables Charlie's Police Cruiser Review

MOC
Today I received my Greenlight Collectables 1:18 scale 2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police car from the movie Twilight. I am a big fan of Billy Burke's character in Twilight, Officer Charlie Swan. Now the car is my first 1:18 Scale diecast. It was waiting very anxiously today for it to arrive at my doorstep. The car is unlike an actual Forks, Washington police car due to the real ones are white and not blue. I guess the Hollywood producers weren't allowed to use a real Forks Police car.
Now that I explained the difference between the actual cars and the movie version, It's time for the review. The car is very detailed down to the license plates which read 763-LHC. Below is a picture of the car in the movie which shows the license plate.
The Ford Crown Victoria has 4 opening doors and an opening hood and trunk. My biggest pet peeve about it is that the trunk lacks the police gear that is found in a typical car, such as a Remington 870 Shotgun. I got sidetracked a little bit.
As for articulation the car's front wheels do turn.
Interceptor
Under the hood is the Ford Interceptor engine. Which is pretty detailed. and is black in color.

Now the the trunk.... Just has a spare tire and nothing else. You can't remove the spare tire.

Side View.

Final Thoughts. Well this car is AWESOME. It's the best cop car I have ever bought. This tops any Jada, or Road Champs Police car ever made. Who should buy this? Well My best recommendation is guys who were dragged to see Twilight by their wives/girlfriends. Movie car buffs also should get this because its unique and stands out in your collection. This car doesn't come cheap. You can't get it less than $60 and it's only in 1:18 scale which sucks for collectors of 1:64 and 1:43 and 1:24. Greenlight Collectibles also made Bella's 1963 Chevrolet Truck.

What Kid would want these?

I was on Amazon.com yesterday looking at toys made by Processed Plastics ans I came across, Pink Toy Soldiers from TimMee Toys. I am not kidding they make pink toy soldiers. No joke here folks they do exist. If you want to add a variety to your war going on you should buy them to accompany your green and tan troops.
These look cool but I would buy them if I felt like spending $15 on them. I would bet that no boy would buy these if they saw them in the store. I guarantee that. They would get beat up for owning such a thing. I imagine that the pink army men are a really poor seller. But what do I know? I'm just a Business major in college. Anyway If the proceeds from these army men go to Breast Cancer research I would buy them. To my knowledge they don't.

It's Dalmatian not Dalmation

One of the things that annoys me to a great extent is when people spell Dalmatian the wrong way. It's actually a common mistake people make by taking the A out and replacing it with an O. It's an insult to all Dalmatians out there. I hate it when people get my name wrong too. It's an honest mistake and can also be insulting to you as well.
Homer is not amused at being called a Dalmation.
When People don't spell Dalmatian right I get annoyed. Even Disney did this with their animated movie 101 Dalmatians by spelling Dalmations. If you don't believe me go look it up. I won't post pictures do to time constraints. If you want to find out about Dalmatians from an official source you should check out this link for The Dalmatian Club of America. At least they know how to spell Dalmatian correctly.

Ertl Pressed Steel Semi Truck

Today I received a package in the mail from a friend of my family. Her husband used to work for Nabisco many years ago and had this old Cream of Wheat truck sitting in their basement collecting dust. My friend knows how much I love trucks especially semi trucks, she sent me this Ertl Cream of Wheat truck.
At first I thought the truck was a Nylint toy truck because I used to have one made them with the  Pillsbury Doughboy on the trailer that made noise when I was around 9 years old. I sure miss that toy
The truck is made out of pressed steel and has some minor condition issues but isn't something I'll lose sleep over. These trucks are hard to come across nowadays since Ertl no longer makes pressed steel trucks.
The truck appears to be modeled after a 1980s International cabover semi truck. I like International trucks and I especially love seeing cabover trucks because they are very uncommon on the highways today.
Looks like the grille of an International

This truck will be an excellent addition to my diecast collection.

Walmart finally gets 2013 Hot Wheels Monster Jam trucks

2013 King Krunch and Maximum Destruction
Well I went to Walmart this morning and checked the toy dept as usual and almost had a stroke seeing 2013 Hot Wheels Monster Jam trucks. I thought my eyes were deceiving me at first seeing the trucks with the crushable cars. Sure enough my eyes weren't. I picked up the new King Krunch and Maximum Destruction. My truck buying is in a pattern an independent truck and a Feld truck.

Mattel Basic 25 Eve Torres

Well the dry run I wrote about is over, well sort of anyway. A fellow wfigs.proboards.com member from my town posted that the local Walmart put out a case of Basic 25 and that he picked up a basic Brock Lesnar figure. He said that Eve and David Otunga was still there. So I stopped what I was doing and ran to Walmart hoping that Eve and David Otunga was still there.
She Looks Good to Me
As soon as I got to Walmart, I ran like the wind to the toy dept to my surprise, Eve and David Otunga were still there. I was going to buy David Otunga but I didn't like the headscan he had. So I bought the new Eve Torres figure which is better than her B11 figure which had a bad headscan.

I hit a dry run

Well partially the reason I haven't posted anything in the past few days is due to a dry run in my area. Literally The only thing I've bought lately was BP19 Epico and Primo. My Stores have got nothing new whatsoever so 2013 is off to a crappy start. I collect a plethora of things, Hot Wheels cars and Monster Jam trucks, WWE action figures and Matchbox cars and Skybusters. My stores have nothing new at all. The Kmart in my town has been the only store to get 2013 Monster Jam trucks. Walmart is behind big time. Kmart got WWE Basic 24, whereas my Walmart is stuck with Best of 2012 Basics and elite 18 Rey Mysterio's. Monster Jam wise there is the typical shelfwarmers, King Krunch, Mechanical Mischief and Excaliber. So stay tuned folks
