Ok I really don't hate Christmas music because I own Christina Perri's Christmas EP. However I do hate Christmas music because every store you go into, is playing Christmas music nonstop. The day after Thanksgiving the music becomes a staple in all stores music playlist. If you work in a store, you feel the pain and get sick and tired of the same Christmas songs being played nonstop.
If there ever happened to be the best music to use for music torture at Guantanamo Bay, Christmas music is the best choice. Christmas music isn't even original anymore. Practically all Christmas songs performed by today's artists are 99.9% covers of classic Christmas songs. So basically the originality has lost his luster since every Christmas song has been covered a million times over by so many artists.
I think that some Christmas songs are good, such as Something About December by Christina Perri, and Please Daddy Don't Get Drunk This Christmas by John Denver. Then there is the terrible stuff, such as The Christmas Shoes by Newsong, and Christmas Time by Paul McCartney, or any Christmas song recorded by Justin Bieber.
Christmas Albums are the biggest direct to dumpster genre next to dog movies. Yeah I'd rather be tortured in a Turkish Prison than have to listen to Christmas Music. Another reason I hate Christmas Music is that there is a Salvation Army Bell Ringer who sings Christmas songs way out of tune. If you work outside of a major big box store and have to put up with him for a 6 1/2 hour day, you'll see my point.
This Blog is about Mattel WWE Action Figures, Hot Wheels Cars and random things that pop into my head

3 Things I Hate About the Holidays
The holiday season has come upon us. Some of us like it others hate certain aspects of it. So I thought I would write about what I hate about the holiday season. Now I know what you're thinking, I'm a Scrooge. Well Honestly I am not one. So here is what I hate about the Holidays.
- The Salvation Army bell ringers. Now I hate them because of the noise they bring about during the holidays. They cause a ton of noise pollution and annoy the hell out of people who work outside of big box stores. I also refuse to donate to them because they are anti gay.
- Christmas Music. I know I reviewed a Christmas EP earlier. That is the only exception because Christina Perri is an artist that I support and did a good job on it. Now I hate Christmas Music because the day after Halloween, stores start playing Christmas Music nonstop. When you work in a store you cannot escape it. You're sick of hearing it after one hour of it.
- Fragrance Commercials. These pollute the airwaves during the holiday season to the point that you want to shoot your TV. Enough Said.

A Very Merry Perri Christmas Review
I preordered Christina Perri's new Christmas EP on Amazon.com about a week ago. It arrived today. So I thought I would review it. Usually I cannot stand Christmas music but this is an exception. I am a fan of Christina Perri. I know the owners of one of the places she worked as a waitress in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. So there is a little backstory to this purchase.
Now where was I? Oh yes my review of A Very Merry Perri Christmas. This CD has 6 tracks. Five of them are covers of Christmas songs with the exception of Something About December which was written by Christina Perri.
The tracklisting is as follows.
Now this EP is way better than any Christmas music I have heard while shopping in stores during the holiday season. Christina gave a lot of effort and emotion into singing these songs. You can tell with "Other" artists are selling out and don't give much effort into their Christmas albums. Most of them are generally disliked and frowned upon by their fans. I really hope that stores will play some of her versions of Christmas songs instead of the boring versions that have been played for years.
Onto the album artwork. I like the album art. It's really different than most conventional Christmas album artwork and isn't cheesy like some of them. I think the side profile of her head is a unique feature that separates this album from the others out there. On a side note this EP is not in a jewel case, but a Digipak instead which gives it a Nine Inch Nails album feeling. Most of Nine Inch Nails albums are Digipaks.
Overall I give this EP 10 out of 10 stars. You're probably thinking that's a little biased. It's not trust me on that. This EP is fantastic and stands out from the generic Christmas albums put out by other artists. It's better than Randy Travis's two Christmas albums. I'm glad that Christina Perri stayed away from some of the more annoying and stupid songs we hear around Christmastime such as Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer, or Please Daddy Don't Get Drunk this Christmas or Rocking Around the Christmas Tree. I highly recommend this EP.
